Nude or Topless Beach Near Los Angeles?

Hotels in the Los Angeles area near the beach?

  • A friend and I are planning on going to LA for 2 days and I was wondering if there are any good hotels near the beach (doesnt really matter which one just so long as you can hangout at it) doesnt have to be on the beach but at least within walking distance. We are looking to spend no more than $150 a night doesnt have to be a really classy place but at least have a pool and a balcony would be awesome! Any help I can get would be great :) Thanks! @obvious as you can see I added that a mile or so away from the beach is fine I obviously know that im not going to get a beachfront hotel in california for $150 I was just asking if anyone knew of maybe a single place in the whole los angeles area that maybe somebody other than locals wouldnt know about, but thank you for your rude, obviously annoyed answer

Think you'd like Malibu. There's a motel called Casa Malibu right on the beach, in fact it has its own private beach. Many rooms have sun decks that extend over the sands. The bathrooms tend to be small, but who cares, you're in Malibu! Budget prices too. There's no website, but plenty of glowing review on Trip Advisor. Casa Malibu Inn on the Beach 22752 PCH Malibu Ph. 800 831-0858 www.tripadvisor.com Venice is a trip and has a good hotel right off the Boardwalk and only a couple of hundred feet from the beach. The rooftop bar has a 360 degree view of the area too. Hotel Erwin www.joiedevivre.com This motel is cherry, budget friendly and three blocks from the beach. The Inn at Venice Beach www.innatvenicebeach.com There's a cool motel, decent and family run, just two blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. Very nice prices too. Sea Shore Motel www.seashoremotel.com The Cal Mar Hotel Suites in Santa Monica is located two blocks from the beach and has the feeling of being an upscale apartment building. One block from the Third Street Promenade. Cal Mar Hotel Suites www.calmarhotel.com Only the Casa Malibu is directly on the beach, the others are two to three blocks away. All are clean, decent, well maintained and affordable.

Wow, I can pretty much cut and paste my last answer. Let's go back to when we took the SAT's, and practice some analogies, shall we? Hot:cold Easy:hard cheap:expensive BEACHFRONT HOTEL:REASONABLE PRICE My point is this: I can give you names of beachfront hotels that face the water, and they won't be $300 for two nights... they are $300 for ONE night. It's all about supply and demand: VERY LIMITED beachfront property that's not owned by the state. People are willing to pay top dollar for it, so you won't find any discount hotels that are less than $150 per night on the beach. So, the correct answer is "no such thing". Check out the Hotel Maya, which is close to the Queen Mary, or the Portofino Inn, in Redondo Beach. But I believe those are still way out of the price range. And unlike MisInformation, I've actually been to those places. Good luck. 10 minutes ago - Edit - Delete
