Are the art galleries in the Jordaan free?

Hi, I am not too used to visit art galleries (I'm more of a museum person, and not especially art museums). I visited the websites of several galleries located in the Jordaan area. None of them mention a fee. Should I understand that all of them are open to the public but free of charge? And if not, what kind of fee should I expect? Many thanks!

Most art galleries are quite small. and intended to either display heavily subsidized projects or to sell. If there's no fee listed count on them being free. If you enjoy it a chat with whoever's sitting there is often apprieciated.
