What do you need for kid traveling?

Traveling to Morocco?

  • I'm traveling to Tangier, Morocco either in October or November and i plan to stay there for a couple of weeks. I had a few questions about traveling there and especially I'll be traveling alone. I'll be bringing my laptop with me and listening to music on my iphone. The international flights do they have plug outlets so i can charge my laptop and phone? Also can I pack regular size shampoo bottles in my luggage? When is Ramadan, I don't mind traveling to Morocoo when the people are celebrating Ramadan, but i want to be aware so when I arrive and want something to eat and then finding out that most of the restaurants are closed for Ramadan. Are there any hair and nail salons in Tangier? I would like to get my nails and hair done there when i have the chance What is the weather in Tangier in October or November, is it still a little warm? Or should I bring a light jacket, boots, pea-coat? Would it still be warm enough to swim at the beach? Also, Im 20 years old and I'll be traveling alone, well I'm meeting up with a friend who lives there, but I would like some tips and advice for some safe for someone who is traveling alone and especially traveling out of the country. Do i need to bring any other documents besides my ID and my passport? Do i need to take any special vaccinations before I travel. I got most of the vaccinations when I was a kid, but is there anything special I need to take? Anything else that would be helpful for me, i would appreciate it.

If you are travellig in October or November, Ramadan will be long over. No liquids are not meant to be in your luggage, and will be confiscated if found. You can buy shampoo here, so don't worry. Yes there are nail salons in Tangier. Hair dressers are a little difficult. they do wonderful things with long hair, but from my experience they are not good cutters for very few girls here have short hair. There is one hairdresser in Tangier that everyone says is good. If you ask when you arrive someone will tell you. He's in the Boulevarde. The weather is still warm in October and November. Warm enough to swim in October. Certainly not coat or even jacket weather. But it could be wet. We have had little rain this year and we have to get it sometime. You can recharge your equipment here. Everyone has laptops and iphones. Just make sure you have a European compatible plug, 2 point, not English 3 point. Passport and ID is all you will need. No vaccinations are necessary, but you should have tetanus whenever you travel. Dress modestly, cover your arms and wear long skirts. Be responsible. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If someone gives you something, they expect something in return, however much they deny it. Its a wonderful country, you'll have a ball . Come and Enjoy!!!

You can bring toiletries with you including shampoo and conditioner...if you bring full-size bottles you must pack them (carefully inside another container or at least a ziplock bag in case they burst) in your checked luggage, not your carry-on bag. They won't be confiscated at the airport. You can buy some brands of shampoos & conditioners there such as L'Oreal and Dove if those are the types you like, but there are only a few varieties of American products available in Morocco. Charge your laptop in the airport while you are waiting for your plane. As far as vaccinations, you might want to get a Hepatitis vaccination especially if you are going to meet some random Moroccan guy, homosexual activity and prostitution activity is fairly high among Moroccan men from their teens until they marry.
