Can someone explain what in simple English what the ISO Garage - Covered Auto Pollution Exclusion b. and c. mean?
-
-
Answer:
The standard ISO policy forms don't cover the release of any pollutants other than pollutants used to run the vehicle. If you were in a vehicle accident in a commercial vehicle and oil and antifreeze were dispursed, the policy would respond to cleanup. If you had a barrell of antifreeze or a few gallons of oil in the trunk, bed, cargo, etc then the policy would not respond. Pollutants in general are not property covered under the ISO commercial auto or general liability policy forms, so special pollution insurance can be obtained for your company
