I stay with my boyfriend more than I stay at home and I'm getting tired of it.?
-
I've been with him about a year and a half. The stress of going home and coming here is starting to take its toll on me. It's just unsettling. I would rather live with him, though I mentioned this to him some time ago (this time last year, after we hadn't been together that long and he didn't like the idea of it). So after being rejected then, I just don't want to mention it any more. I feel like going back and forth is just exhausting. Any advice?

Answer:
After 18 months of being together you should be able to bring up anything. If this is getting to be a pain and he doesn't care then you're not on the same page......and that's ok. But then it's time for you to make a decision.

Sure, change your routine and start the nights out at your place. After a year and he is still not comfortable with making plans to move forward it would seem to me he isn't that into you.

So stop sleeping over so much. Or move to an apartment that's closer. If you've never been out on your own - you should be - for at least a year prior to living with anyone else. Or ask him to come to you more - but I'm sure your parents don't want to hear you two fvcking in your childhood home...so put on your big girl panties and figure it out!

I believe that a year and half is not much to make that kind of decision. But that's just my opinion. If you are tired of going to his place and back then don't see him that often or make plans to go out or at your place instead. Ask him to move his lazy bottom and pay a little more attention to your needs as well. Obviously he has gotten used to you being like this and doing everything that he wants. Maybe it's time for you to grow a backbone and tell him how you feel. If it doesn't work, then you might wanna move on.

So stop going back and forth as often...when he asks why, tell him you're tired of doing that for over a year and since he's made no mention of living together, so you're going to be seeing him less often unless he wants to come to your place... This belongs in Singles & Dating...
