What is the best way to teach yourself or start off in computer programming?

    The best thing to do would be to start out with a simple programming setup. Try Visual Basic by Microsoft. I am a beginner with it as well. I have made a few applications, but once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to do. Best thing to do would be to get involved in it, try it out and mess around. Also, if you are genuinely interested in programming, particularly as a career, you could try some college courses regarding computer programming, or visual basic courses. If you have simple questions on how to make something work, just search google, or my personal favorite, youtube. Hundreds of youtube users offer excellent tutorials on how to do individual projects in Visual Basic. Best of luck!
