Where are some good places to move near Georgia?

I would like to move to another city, but I don't know where to start.?

• Okay, here is my situation. I am a single female with no kids, I suffer with bipolar disorder and I am taking my medication on a regular basis. I have lived in Atlanta, Georgia most of my life and I dislike it so much. My reasons on wanting to move is because I am tired of living in Atlanta, and I there is nothing here for me anymore. I will be receiving my Associates degree in Graphic Design at the end of this spring. I would like to further my education, but I have been considering another school, (not in Georgia to attend. Now this is my situation, I was given section 8 housing, because of my disability, I didn't ask for it, but it has helped me with my living situation. I am receiving disability benefits and I finally got a job after two years of being unemployed. My goals are to get off of public assistance and social security and try to my best to live without government assistance. I want to move but I don't know where to go. Every time I tell someone I dislike living in Atlanta, they ask me why, it's beautiful here, but I dint see it that way. I would like to be in a new city with four seasons of weather and near a beach because I love the water. I have been to other cities to visit and the only dislikes I have encountered were the places to live. I have a very nice place in Atlanta, but If I unfortunately I can't take it with me. Another problem is being on section 8, people think it is great to have section 8, but there are so many hold backs when you are on the program. For example, you only can move into a place that accepts section 8, most of the places look ghetto and messy. If I wanted to split bills with someone I cannot, because I cannot have a roomate on section 8. Another issue is when you try to move out of state on section 8, not all cities will accept your voucher, some cities are not even accepting them. I know this is not the the best place for advice, but I thought I would give it a shot just to see what type of responses and advice I receive. My goal is to obtain a job in my field or related. Where do I start? Which city would be a great city to find a job in graphic design with an Associatess degree? Also, what school is a really great art school on the east coast? I have thought about moving to 2 places, New York or Maryland.

  Rhode Island School of Design I suggest looking to see what the unemployment rates are in various cities and the cost of living and social services. This is a big project. We cannot answer your question here. It is too broad. New York may not accept your voucher, is difficult to get around if you dont walk, is expensive to live in, and very competitive.
