My mozilla foxfire isn't loading google at all! please read error and help, what to do?
-
when i try to go on google (so far, it's only with google), it takes a few prolonged seconds, then i get a problem loading page with the following info: <<The page isn't redirecting properly- Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. *This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.>> Ok so i went ahead and clicked on tools in my bar above (i cleared history, i also deleted current cookies.didn't help). I clicked options, then privacy. the box for 'tell websites i don't want to be tracked' is checked. I unchecked it and tried to load google again, apparently it didn't help. so i went back and rechecked it. then i looked at where it said ' History- foxfire will: ___' and i had it down as remember history. so i scrolled down to click 'choose custom settings for history'. I had the options 'always use private browsing mode' and 'clear history when firefox closes' unchecked. everything else was checked including 'accept cookies from sites' and 'accept third party cookies'. under the accept cookies from sites section, where i could click 'exceptions', it looked like i hadn't listed any exceptions yet at all. so i have no idea what to do. it looks like cookies are being accepted, so i'm confused. i also tried to turn on internet explorer to go on google and it wasn't connecting either. it could not 'display the webpage'. both mozilla and explorer allow me to go on other sites though. what can i do, how do i find out how to fix this? it's been happening since morning.

Download Google Chrome, delete Firefox and your problem should go away. I did it on my PC and on my girlfriend's PC and it works more quickly than Firefox and less likely to freeze and crash your computer. One of the best programs to delete all traces of an installed program is Revo Uninstaller which will erase completely any program that you have installed.
