Is majoring in Biology difficult?

Is majoring in biology hard if u didnt do good in it in Highschool?

  • Answer:

I had a 2.0 gpa in high school and did bad in biology. I entered college and got a degree in chemical/bio-molecular engineering and graduated with honors. My point is that you change so much when you are an adult. You performance in high school biology may be less related to your intelligence and more related to your work ethic, number of distractions, and friends. On a side note, while biology will prepare you for medical or veterinarian school, by itself a BS in biology will not offer many prospects should you fail to enter a professional school. You may want to consider having a more competitive undergraduate degree to fall back on.

It probably will be hard because the biology in high school is generally basic compared to what's taught in colleges. Just because you want to be a veterinarian though doesn't mean that you have to major in biology. You should certainly take the course, but if it's not your thing, then major in something else.

;D

It'll probably be hard if highschool bio was hard.. Biology builds off of previous facts. If you didn't get it in highschool, it'll be ten times harder now,

Depression.

If you didn't do well in bio in high school, it's just going to get harder.
