How to make Marzipan candy?

  • I was trying to find a good recipe for homemade marzipan candy online, but I couldn't find anything that seemed like a good source. None of them had any reviews on how good or bad they were. So, the point of this question is; do any of you know a *delicious* marzipan candy recipe (also with details on how to make the marzipan)? I would preferably want to make candies that are also pleasing to the eye, so if you have any cute animal shapes or anything like that would be just amazing! :)

Place the sugar and 2/3 cup water in a large heavy saucepan and heat gently, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. 3. Add the cream of tartar and turn up the heat. Bring to a boil and cover, boiling, for 3 minutes. 4. Uncover and boil until the temperature reaches soft-ball stage, 240 degrees on a candy thermometer. 5. Place the bottom of the saucepan in the cold water you’ve prepared, stirring the sugar mixture constantly until it becomes thick and creamy. 6.
