How do you go about getting braces from a dental school?

I am getting braces tomorrow morning and i was wondering if i should go to school late?

Stay home. Take a pain pill BEFORE you go to the Orthodontist's. Then, afterwards, live off of soup. It really helps to eat lots of ice cream and yogurt. Leave them (or anything cold and soft) in your mouth next to where the pain is. This should help. But stay home from school, you'll be in a lot of pain.

My cousin just got her braces over spring break and she was just fine afterwards. She was eating and everything so I think you should be fine.

Stay home. They really hurt after about 3 hours of getting them in and you won't want to be at school when the pain sets in, trust me.
