If I would want to become a neonatologist?

How do I know what I want to become?

  • Am 16. Now, I need to decide what I wanna become in future. My friend, this is the main problem! I just can't decide. Let me tell you: I always wanted to serve the suffering humanity, so I thought to become a DOCTOR; then I thought to serve the poor and illiterate people, so I chose to become a SOCIAL WORKER; again stars, planets, galaxies, universe, time, space fascinates and interests me most, so I thought of becoming a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST; then I learnt that ancient buildings, monsteries, relics, temples etc took onto my mind and I inclined to it a lot, so I prefered to become an ARCHAOLOGIST; after that machines started to attract me, so I took on to become an ENGINEER; then I found myself inclining towards teaching, so I thought about becoming a TEACHER; suddenly I thought I should start a profitable business, so what if I become a BUSINESS MAN?; again I wanted to make new clothes and design them, so I chose to become a FASHION DESIGNER; even one day I felt like loving maths, so I wanted to become a MATHEMATICIAN; again by doing something great I want to become WORLD FAMOUS; above all I always wanted to become a SCIENTIST from the time when I didn't even know what it means! So, friends, any advice?

"WOW", such great aspirations, I must say. Well the testing they give at colleges would really help a lot out on this, yet many people can become a master at many traded if they have the incli8nations and expertise. You have your whole life to learn many of them yet, and possibly even get many degrees, several titles, Professor, Dr. etc. Start one, branch off, keep yourself abreast of the many interest, and even consider a couple of your interest as possible hobbies. *(which would be done in your down time) *everyone needs that down time,in order to do best in the elective Major areas...as one goes along; one feels their way, no one else can do that for a student..It's a big gap to fill all your aspirations, just don't let it overwhelm you, it will work out as you go along, keep good close guidance friendships and they too will help along the way...along the way, you may find certain areas not too appealing, then change, or forget that venue, it's a "step by step" process deciding, and doing your best. Enjoy the studying, I found I learned many more things just doing as much as possible, even the people contact pays off later, "Big Time"!
