What can I do about my boyfriends hair..?

  • I love my boyfriend and he's everything I ever wanted, and I can't see myself breaking up with him because of his hair...but it's come to a point where I can't stand it! I HATE guys with long hair! It's a total turn off and it just doesn't amuse me. I'm a very blunt person and very honest, not to mention persistent..so I'll say things like they are! and so I told him "I hate your hair...I'm not into long hair, you should cut it" he then responded saying "But why?? I like long hair and I'm trying it out" I keep asking him to cut his hair and it's starting to aggravate me because he won't do it. I feel extremely bad because I know I'm judging him and if this were me I know he would never judge me. So what do I do now? His hair just isn't turning me on at all, and I just can't look at him without trying to pull his hair all the way back just because I wish he had shorter hair like before. I thought of taking a razor and cutting his hair off but he threatened to do the same with me, and I can't afford that...It took me too god damn long to grow this hair. Men are just not comprehensive.... Ugh..how do I convince him without sounding like any more of a Biotch? I tried threatning to break up with him but he just called me stupid I tried actually accepting that he won't cut it, but that just caused severe anxiety attacks. I'm starting to feel really bad.     I think you're overreacting, it's just his hair after all.. If he really loves you I bet he'll understand how upset you are over his hair, and i guess he'll cut it after some time? Don't break up with him over his HAIRSTYLE lol, that's just ridiculous. No offence though. Good luck.

If the long hair is within the 10% allowance for things you don't like about him, keep your mouth shut. If the other 90% of him is good, keep him. You aren't perfect either. You decide if the hair is a deal breaker or not. In the mean time, show him less affection: Less kissing, less hugging, less touching. He changed something about his appearance that makes you feel less attracted to him, so it's fair to show less affection. BTW, hopefully you are eating healthy and exercising so you have a killer body that he will no longer have access to, because the long hair is pushing you away.
