How to delete bids on Ebay?

Listed MacBook Pro on Ebay. Current bidder has 0 feedback and is located in Ukraine?

  • I'm selling a MacBook Pro on Ebay. I clearly stated I was only selling to UK buyers. The highest bidder has increased his maximum bid 3 times. The bidder has never had a transaction on Ebay and only registered at the beginning of the month. After stating UK only I emailed the bidder to ask why they bid. They replied that they have friends in the UK that they can have the item delivered to. Should I delete the bids. Many Thanks

  • Answer:

Revise the listing, make sure you bloc zero rated bidders and overseas bidders. Then remove his bid and block him!

Sounds fishy to me. I would understand in some regards as it is difficult to get certain updated electronics in the Ukraine but the other side of me does not trust something like this. If you send them the computer it is a good chance it will not make it to the Ukraine. If they pay with Paypal and you send the computer and after pull their payment you would be stuck as Paypal does not back up their buying methods if you read the fine print. I would suggest saving yourself any frustrations and find a local buyer even if you have to lower the desired price you are seeking.

How have you arranged to be paid? If you haven't already you should request to be paid electronically via Paypal, and state that you will ship your comp once you have received payment. Otherwise I fail to see what the issue is. It's up to the bidder to provide a valid shipping address, and if he has friends in the UK that he can pick it up from, then good for him.

Get thee to a nunnery!

You have stated that you are only selling to UK buyers and so tell them that they'll have to get their friend to sign up and bid.

If they are from outside where you stated in the ad, remove their bids, simple as that. You can block certain bidders from doing that in your preferences.

Sounds dodgy, I'd delete his bids and block him.
