What do i do to fix my xbox live?

How do i fix delayed, or lag problems in Halo: Reach (XBOX LIVE)? 10 POINTS.?

  • Okay so recently somethings been real odd about gameplay on Halo: Reach. It will tell me my NAT is open, but it will still be messed up. I can barely connect to my friends partys or games. It takes a long time to find people for matchmaking, and when i actually get into a game everything is delayed. When i shoot someone it will hit them, but there shields don't take any damage until 4-5 seconds after. Everything is just delayed. and every-time i sprint i "pop" back to the place i started sprinting. How can i fix all of this. it will also say that my NAT is open, but it will still do the same things. restarting my router doesn't do anything either. My ports are not filled. (i don't think atleast). and i have a password on my connection, so no one can hop on it. Can someone please give me an instructional guide on how to fix this? thanks.

    Strange situation. I doubt this could be it but it's possible someone has a grudge against you and is DDOS-ing your account. If your NAT is open then you shouldn't have strange lag like that unless it's server-based. But you are also having trouble connecting to your friends too?
