It depends if you have ps3 or xbox. xbox gets the dlc first and ps3 gets them a week later (even if you are elite) the rest of the ps3 people get it another week later (sucks). there are 20 dlc items available in the future and they come out every month for 9 months. some are already out for both consoles. here is the dlc (downloadable content/maps) calendar: http://www.callofduty.com/contentcalendar

Why are you playing MW3? I used to be a Cod fanboy, but then I realized how realistic Battlefield 3 was. Cod is for little kids anyway..
