How to get BACK to timeline view?

Alright, my friend made me add the timeline view for facebook. I wanted to get rid of it and she said there was some software i could find where i could get rid of it. Well, I found this link which got rid of my timeline view...but it turns out that I view EVERYONE'S profile as the old layout on facebook. And when people see my profile, they still see it as timeline...so it's messed up!! I see EVERYONE'S profile as the old layout including mine. Everyone sees mine as my timeline layout. How do i reset this whole thing?? Anyone know how?
