Fingernail falling off, will it grow back?

Will my fingernail fall off? and how long will it take to grow back?

• about 6 weeks ago i slammed my finger in a door. it turned dark blue (almost black) and has been very very slowly growing out. but this morning i looked at my finger and i had a small hole in it and i can see my nail bed. will my nail continue to grow if it has a hole in it or how will it fall off? will it hurt? it also had a patch of white on it. and if my nail does grow back will it be normal or deformed?
