How do you turn off the internet blockers?

How can I get my dad to turn the internet on?

  • Im 16, and Im in year 11 My dad is really stingy when it comes to the internet. He has upwards of 150gb of Quota usage a month, yet he wont even let me use the "unfiltered' internet so i can do my homework. He has blocked 75 percent of ALL the websites, and i cant get on the internet what so ever, so (this happened last week) i cant even do a research project because every 2nd website has been block for some reason. Yeah, i know im 16 and a lot of you reading this will be thinking "PORN" or something, well, im not into that. He reminds me i have to get a job every single day, yet all the places near me just tell me to fill out the online order form. I cant even get on the internet at all! He either blocks everything, or wont even turn it on, and when he turns it on, he "sets me up" as he likes to say, downstairs on his laptop, and he thinks thats cool. Being year 11, i have a lot of homework and i need to do research projects and homework basically every day, and my school is becoming more 'environmentally friendly' and just puts all the homework on the school website. What can i do to make my dad let me have the internet? How can i get him to unblock everything so i can do my work? How much does setting up an internet (thing) cost, so that i can get my own internet whenever? and what would i need? Im stressing out 95 percent of the time because i know that i can never do my work and my teachers are always fed up with my excuses as to why i didnt know what the homework they set us at 8pm that evening was.

    You could get an android phone and use its internet, you would have to plug it in with your computer and teether it. Free internet with the phone. The phone bill is 55-60 dollars. Cricket or T-Mobile. If you can afford that

This is a personal problem,not a technology one.Take it up with your dad,get a wireless adapter and hope there's an unlocked wireless network around :p

two options: either get a job and buy your own internet or go to your local library or find a hotspot somewhere and use the internet there unless your goal is to unlock porn sites, well then ure screwed :p
