How To Make Your Own Primer?

Question about make up primer...?

  • i recently ran out of make up primer i dont wear make up every day. only if i am going out and today i am going to a party and i am, going to wear make up i find that after a few hours, my make up is always coming off, especially when i am drinking (like how i will be tonight) but if i use primer it does not i need to use something to substitute make up primer. since i live in the middle of no where and have no way to get to a store that sell primer so i was wondering if people had any suggestions on what to use. in stead of make up primer some one told me to put hair spary on my face, and let it dry and then apply make up but that sounds like a really bad idea to me please help 10 points best answer

    you can use Milk of Magnesia, monistat chafing gel, aloe vera gel, clinique dramatically different gel or any time of gel based cream or moisturizer something with t Silicon in it too, or you can use pure aloe vera gel mixed with some moisturizer, concealer might work, if the concealer matches your skintone i guess you could try that, it will give the make up something to stick too, if your concealer is 1 or 2 shades lighter then your foundation i wouldn't recommend it, it wont blend well, for eye primer use concealer/foundation/a gel based eye liner, you just get a color of liner that will blend with the eyeshadow smudge it upward and then put the eyeshadow over it, and it will give the eyeshadow something to stick too or you can also use a little chap stick for eye primer just a tad though. don't use hairspray that will clog pores and maybe even end up breakin you out, next time your out getting primer pick up a setting finishing mist, this is good to use with primer it also sets the make up. if you dont find a plan be, atleast moistizer and wear a good sweat/water resistant make up, something mean to last for hours, so its not coming off in 3 hrs, and set with a really good powder, you might have to touch up alot, with the powder, depends on your skin weather its oily or dry you can go on youtube and look up homemade primer if you get desperate -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF7-zy8TRpE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1twmsKrjFi0

Primer is a solution that is thinner than cream, and has formulas to hold the foundation and makeup in place better, but if you cannot get a hold of primer I suggest you use concealer or cream! Cream is thicker, but it can hold the makeup in place too. In between the party you can use the washroom break to reapply. You could get the primer or cream at shoppers drug mart. Hope I helped! :D
