How can I increase my GPA?

How can I increase my rank and gpa?

  • Currently, since I last checked.. I rank 144/767 students in my highschool, I believe this is okay.. but It could be much better. Right now my goal is to kick all those other 44 people out of the park, and work my way down to a 50 hopefully making my way down to 20, which is my ideal rank. My GPA is 3.5.. as I said earlier this could be much better, and I'm not very happy with it. I know I can get up to a 3.7, and I'm trying my best in my courses i study everyday, ask questions, sleep early, and I don't talk in class, but what else could I do to improve?, thank you.

It's great that you take so much interest in academics at a young age. What you are doing sounds pretty good. I wasn't doing half these things in high school. But you can try to join study groups or clubs related to the class you are taking , talking about the concepts you learn in class in a club or group environment can really help you memorize some of the concepts, especially in sciences. Also conduct your own research on your free time; once you understand a lesson ,take it further and look up more information about the topic. That will give you an edge. Best of luck ! I would suggest talking to teachers before or after class or school about extra credit. maybe see if they can grade papers ahead of time and allow you to correct anything that is wrong, my math teacher always did that. Possibley get a tutor for a course your not doing as well in. ask your teachers what your doing incorrect that is causing you to lose points, also ask what you need to change with you writing styles and homework to get better grades
