What is the best gaming headset for ps3?

I am an avid gamer, I am currently ranked 3100 (+/- 50) in the world in hardcore team death match on MW3. I have been using the Sony headset, I like it, but I want a little more. PRICE IS NOT AN ISSUE. I have heard the Astro A40 is a great headset as well as the Tritton AX Pro. However I have heard the Tritton headset has cheap construction. I am looking for THE BEST headset and nothing else. If you have used the headset please let me know what you think. Also is it possible to have two headsets on for split screen? As in headset one only outputs player ones sound and the same for player two for his/hers?
