How can a 16 year old get involved in organizations that help kids in forgein countries?

  • I really want to help kids in country's that cannot take proper care of them. I want to do something. when I grow up, I plan to be a cultural anthropologist an travel the world in hope I will bring world peace, feed kids, get jobs etc for people who cannot do so. but, my point with this question is, how can I, (I am 16, can't join peace corps) get involved in other country's over the summer, what organizations would you recommend I look into? I really want to help, physically, but have no clue where to start, can someone please inform me on some nice organizations that 16 year olds can join an travel with them to help. thanks so much for any info(:

The best thing is for you to explore Do an internet search for things like "volunteer vacations" or "voluntourism" and study those sites carefully with your parents.
