How to make my singing voice sound better?

Does Singing Along To The Radio Help Develop Your Singing Voice And Make It Sound Better?

  • When I Was Little I Had An Beautiful Singing Voice. Everyone Used To Tell Me I Had A Beautiful Voice My Parents,Grandma,Sister,Family Friends,Cousins,ETC. But When I Was 8 One Of My Dad's Friend's Told Me I Had A Horrible Singing Voice And That I Shouldn't Ever Sing Again...So I Stopped Cause I Believed Him Cause He Was The First Person To Ever Criticize My Singing. Now Im 16 And I Dont Care What People Think And I Wanna Start Singing Again. I Wanna Know How To Get Used To My Voice Cause It's More Mature Now And It Sounds Alittle Different. Will Singing Along To Songs Help Me Re-Memorize Key And Tone? And Will It Help Develop It And Make It Sound Good? :)

It won't hurt, but you really need singing lessons. Here's a blog with some free singing tips on how to sing better: http://www.howdoising.com And Youtube videos of singing lessons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpvc4SNCWHA And here's a downloadable singing lesson program that will help you out too: http://www.galtmusic.com/lessons/products.html

Singing

PRACTICE will help you improve your voice. Try playing some tunes on the piano and reaching them. This will help determine how accurate your voice can get, and enable you to see your mistakes. You can also join the school's choir. Good luck! Best answer? :)

The best advice I can give is to take voice lessons. Sometimes singing along sounds good in our minds but not so much to people around us. Talk to a choir teacher at school or church and see if they can recommend someone.
