What is a really good animation program?

What's a good SIMPLE program to morph key frames together for an animation?

• SPECIFICALLY, here's what I need. I want to draw a traditional cartoon. I want to draw it one frame at a time by hand, scan them into a computer, then have the computer add frames in between the frames that I drew. Kind of like when you draw key frames and submit them to someone else to fill in all the others, except I will be drawing just over half the frames myself and have the computer fill in the rest. Is there a program for this that makes it EASY, as opposed to rocket science? I need a program where I can easily give the computer 2 frames and morph them together to make an intermediate frame between them with minimal effort to add frames and make the animation smoother. The key word is it has to be simple. If it takes so much time and effort to combine the frames that it would be easier for me to draw the in-between frame myself then it's not helpful. I also need a program that's either free or a way to do it with Photoshop 7 which I don't understand very well :( , and I need to have it done without any special effects on the animation like the free image morpher programs like to put on without your permission. No flipping over or rotating. Just mapping the points so things change in a simple, short, straight line when morphed.
