There is'nt any dance lessons/class's round here so if you can help i'd really appreciate it

  • Answer:

You can practice bboying in almost any area. I practice at parks, grass, room, garage, school, etc. You should have different terrains to practice on, because if you're not used to power you can hurt yourself doing power on a hard surface. I started learning off youtube tutorials and using this site: bboy.org Yes, there is an order to make moves easier and prepare you to make your own moves (a.k.a Foundation). Start learning basic toprock, basic footwork (6-Step, 3-Step, Helicopter, and you'll find more as you go), and basic freezes (stab & baby). I also suggest start learning handstands, it will help for future moves. Once you get more comfortable you can start learning power moves, I suggest starting out with swipes, back spin, and MAYBE windmills. From there you can start learning more advanced moves.
