How do i make sure xbox gold account dont automatic charge paypal account?

  • i have money in my paypal account.....the xbox live gold account isnt mine, so i cant use the xbox setting to set it to manual renewal(tried it, need to put in password for the email, email's not mine)....is there any other way i can protect my paypal account? i used my paypal account to renew the gold account bcos it was at a promotion price of $2 for 2 months...i bought the xbox360 second hand and the account in there was playable(12 months account)...

    If you don't know the email and password, you can't remove auto renew by yourself and it's turned on when you sign up for one of those deals. Your best option is to contact support at 1-800-4My-Xbox and see if they can help you turn it off or try to contact the person who sold it to you. In the future, do not fall for those deals unless you have full control over the account. You shouldn't put your personal payment options on someone else's account anyway unless it's your family member.
