What does it take to become an animator?

  • Right now I'm in high school, and it's coming to the point where i need to start knowing what I want to do with my life. For quite awhile I have been seriously considering becoming an animator. I have taken every art course available in my school. I have looked into many different career options and animation is what i want to do. All i need to know is, what does it take to become one? What are the requirements needed? Does it matter what university/college I go to? What should I do?

    If you are creative enough you could become a good animator.Animation has lot of areas in it.It depends on what you want to become.
