Lower abdominal pain?

Lower left abdominal pain, help!?

  • **Reposted due to lack of answers** Okay about three or four days ago I caught a cough. It was just a normal cough where I just cough a lot with slight mucus. Well on the second day I coughed a hard continuous cough and a hard one send a sharp five second pain in my left abdominal area. After that cough that set off the pain, coughs give me a pain that area and screaming loudly. The pain is mild but today the pain has increased and there is more mucus in my neck and when I cough. The pain is in the lower left part of my abdominal area where my kidney is I suppose (not really sure). All the friends I asked say it's just a pulled stomach muscle and that it will go away soon but I've already read it could be some other scary things. It also hurts when I sit down and slump over. I am 13 years old and this hasn't happened before. Please give me fast, and good answers and if possible information on what you think it is. Thanks in advance

Seems like a "inguinal hernia" you should go to the doctor before it gets worse.

I agree with the comment above, its probably a hernia. Go see a doctor asap, to get it checked out!
