How to whiten teeth???

• I had zoom 2 about a week ago and they told me that it only got 2 shades lighter . im disappointed because it was really expensive and i thought my teeth would get better results. my teeth are kinda of yellow but i want them pearly white. i brush my teeth 2x a day and i floss,rinse. i don't drink too much cola and if i do i drink it with a straw. if i go get my teeth whiten perhaps every two months ... will it get really white ? or is there anything else that really works?? and is proven. btw does it have to do with genetics... maybe.

  Teeth whitening products harm the enamel. My dentist explained it as "scrubbing your teeth with comet cleaner". I've been using Baking soda for the past 2 weeks and let me tell you, it works. I used to drink (USED TO) 44 oz of cola a day, 3 cups of coffee, and my diet was just not healthy for me or my teeth. (might I add I was also a pack a day smoker) But ever since I've been using baking soda, it sure does not look like it. I got 2 compliments today on how white my teeth are. I use Sensodyne Pronamel tooth paste with baking soda on top an electric tooth brush and ACT fluoride rinse. Pearly whites.
