Why does Yahoo! Answers have a limit?

Is there a limit on how many answers u can give on yahoo answers?

    Yes. For you, at Level 1, the daily answering limit is 20 answers per day. When you reach Level 2 (250 points), your daily answering limit DOUBLES to 40 answers per day! Once you reach Level 5, the daily participation limits are removed ... you can ask and answer as many questions as you like.

At lower levels, yes, there is a daily limit. There is no daily limit at higher levels. There is also no overall limit. Some people have answered a few thousand questions in their years on Y!A. Under th ABOUT tab at the top of the page is a link to the Points & Levels page. It's free. Asking a question costs you 5 points, so save them up and just use the Points & Levels page as reference.

There's a daily limit on answers until you get to level five. I hit it only one time while I was at level four. Answering eighty questions in 24 hours is a LOT of questions, but I could still vote on best answers. :-D

It has a certain amount that you can answer in a day, but that renews every day, so besides that you can answer as many as you want :-)

ya you can answer a certain amount per day, the number goes up as your level increases
