How do I make my facebook profile/wall completely, totally, and permanently empty?

Does the psychiatrist have the right to make public comments about you on Facebook?

  • After I had finished posting a picture of my great-niece who is 13 months dancing on Facebook, I was then alerted by someone how Dr. Bernadette Grosjean who happens to be my psychiatrist at Harbor UCLA Medical Center was making some rather public comments about me on Facebook in which she was stating "especially don't be accepting a friends requests from Wendy Sweetwood who is one of my patients I am treating for self injurious behavior, and is a complete freak of nature who needs to be committed to the local mental hospital as well as treating Wendy for severe clinical depression with suicidal tendencies. people need to be beware of this person. When I did finally open up about the self injury during one of the sessions, I had thought Dr. Grosjean couldn't tell anyone else about the self injury or any of the other problems.. Then , a few days later after I had posted a picture of my beloved pet rabbit sleeping in my bed on Facebook, I was once again alerted by someone on Facebook how Dr. Bernadette Grosjean was telling everyone how she found it rather repulsive to be treating a patient who purposely injures themselves in which she had told everyone on Facebook " since I have been forced to treat Wendy Sweetwood for self injurious behavior, I have found the behavior to be rather repulsive for someone purposely injure themselves just to get some attention from strangers." I had thought Dr. Grosjean had to maintain some level of professional in which she couldn't be making public comments about one of their patients that was spread all over Facebook .

  • Answer:

That is doctor patient confidentiality, she is breaking the oath she made as a Psychiatrist. I would inform your local authorities/a lawyer of what's going on, change your doctor, then I would e-mail facebook & have individuals informing you to report her for such remarks.

NO!, the psychiatrist does not have the right to do that, talk to him/her about it, they are just being sad and you should speak with a lawyer or see what can be done because this is a very serious matter and it is suppose to be private and confidential. SUe their ***. I hope you are alright :)

No! It's kinda 'illegal'. It's against a psychiatrist's "contract". He/she has no right to say anything about you and your problems to anyone! Everything you tell him/her has to be a secret between the doctor and the pacient.

Uhhhh,im pretty sure that psychiatrists aren't suppose to make public comments about your life, especially if its personal. She has no right to say anything unless its like your abusing your child or something like that..
