How do I change my password on Yahoo mail?

How to change yahoo mail password on new system (Mar 18 2012).?

  • On the new system "Yahoo Account Info" takes me to a page where the only option involving passwords is "Manage passwords and account security." It then takes me to an AT&T site where I choose that I am using a residential system. I then went through a whole signup process to get myself the second useless account that I didn't want. When I tried to link my Yahoo account to said useless account, it told me that I could only link AT&T accounts, and refused my Yahoo account. How am I supposed to change the password for my Yahoo account? I am willing to just quit Yahoo entirely if that is what is necessary, but it would be a pain to go through and update all my accounts attached to my Yahoo mail. Suggestions? Please actually read the question. The "http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=e... tutorial is old information. The "http://edit.yahoo.com/config/change_pw" page redirects me to a page telling me "As an SBC Yahoo! customer you have reached this page in error. Please Change your password to continue." Both just lead me into the cycle described above.

    To change your password assuming it's Yahoo http://edit.yahoo.com/config/change_pw before you change it back up any important mail you may have. Several people have lost their mail when changing the password.
