I need major help with iTunes.

I need to sync from my iPod to iTunes. My computer crashed! Help?

  • I bought a laptop and gave my desktop computer to my mom. I left all of my iTunes on hers because I couldn't figure out how to transfer all of it. To make a long story short, my mom's computer crashed. A friend of mine came over and took out the hardrive and we got all of our stuff back - except for my iTunes. I copied the files to my laptop, but the only music that shows in my iTunes are the ones I imported from CD's, not purchased on iTunes. I have all of my apps, movies,etc...but I'm missing half of my music. What can I do? Each time I plug it into my laptop, it says that it will erase my ipod and sync from Itunes...but I need it to sync from my ipod into itunes...what do i do? Things I've tried: Plugging my ipod in and going through My Computer to copy the files (didn't work) Going to File and clicking "transfer files from ipod to computer" - it went to sync my itunes to ipod instead. Is there anything I can do? What's iCloud? Could that help?
