How can I stop my leg/knee shaking?

I had a Monster and i can't stop shaking!?

  • i had a monster around 3 hours ago and my hands are trembling and my legs are shaking. i drank around 3/4 of the can and i let my friends have the rest. at first i was totally fine. then an hour laster (around 4 pm) my hands and legs started shaking. now its extremely noticable. i drank the can with in 10 minutes of getting it. when do you think i will stop shaking. Oh! plus i havent got any extra energy. just shaking. it was my first monster (the zero calorie one that is blue) but i have had a bunch of rockstars before. any idea how to make the shaking stop? and if not, when should it stop? thanks :)

The reason your shaking is because of all that sugar in those things. Monster has more than your daily serving of certain things in each can. If you go out and run and do other activities you can get rid of some of that energy.

You are susceptible to caffeine. I believe the half life of caffeine is about 5 hours so in about 5 hours it will be half as bad and after 10 you will have 1/4 and so on.

It's probably the sugar so it might stop if u eat like fruit or something that doesn't have a lot of sugar in it. Or just wait is the other option.

it made your sugar level go up really high then drop really low.... it happens to me all the time.... try eating something like fruit or something with sugar in it to make it go back up a little.

Try eating something with balanced nutrition...a handful of nuts with some fruit, and maybe some crackers. If it is a blood sugar issue, that should even you back out. OR a glass of plain milk or a pudding cup or some yogurt. Also relax and try to get comfortable and calm. Stay in one place so you don't hurt yourself by banging into things or falling down. Do you have a way to monitor your heart rate and blood pressure? Are they normal? If you can't get a handle on it, I suggest having someone drive you to urgent care to be looked over.
