  • Last week I asked how to connect a Planar XP17 PC/TV monitor to my computer. I got a reply on how to connect it to my TV. I have a separate modem for my cable computer. In another room is a modem for my cable TV. I already have a screen for my TV. I want to connect it to my computer in a separate room. The cable company said I did not need to connect it to my computer modem. I just have to connect it to the back of my computer. But I am getting no power. There is not a separate cable for plugging it into electricity.
