Why do some cable channels not have any sound?

My cable channels randomly go black screen with no sound for a few seconds. What could be wrong?

    It's probably your cable box. Try shutting it down and unplug it for a few minutes. If that doesn't work, call the cable company and have them reset it for you over their network. You may need a new box. As for Bud...I call it Buttwiper. It doesn't digest well for me.
