Is it possible to apply for a scholarship to Florida?

  • I live in Texas and I want to apply for Florida (Gainesville) I know that I have to pay for out of state tuition, but also I want to know if I can apply for a scholarship and the scholarship covers the tuition? The thing is I have pretty good grades (A's and B's). And I wonder how much a scholarship would cover

    As an out of state student you won't qualify for state financial aid (Bright Futures, Florida Student Assistance Grant, etc). You will need as many scholarships as possible to pay for the out of state tuition. I would contact their admissions department and see what types of Merit based aid you would qualify for your good gradres.
