Csu nursing program?

For Nursing Program, does it matter if you attend a UC or CSU?

  • Answer:

Any nursing program that is accredited is just fine. Nursing is not a profession like other careers where the name and prestige associated with a school matters. It doesn't. As long as you do well and keep a high GPA, be professionally active in nursing organizations / student organizations, do volunteer work or other projects that make you stand apart from the crowd, then you will have a better chance at getting into a CRNA program later on. I know CRNAs who went to nursing school at tiny little community colleges and finished their BSN at almost-as-small colleges. It's all about what you do, not the name of the school.
