How much to ship a dog from us to uk?

Are you allowed to ship a dog from another country?

  • This might sound a little bit strange, but it's legit! I'm a Chinese. Usually, on the Chinese shopping website (stuff like eBay in America), you are actually allowed to buy a dog or anything pet online (Please don't associate it with eating dog or something like that, it's just a real alive pet). However, since those are the Chinese shopping website, they usually can ship a dog from one place to the other WITHIN China. However, since I'm here in the United States, I don't know if it's allowed to ship a dog through the airplane or not. Anyway, does anyone have any idea of how to ship a real animal from one country to the other? I had heard of someone who shipped his dog from Canada to Hong Kong. But I think this is the different case since it involves the laws and regulations of the U.S and China. Anyone have any idea? By the way, the reason why I'm buying dog from China is because they're usually Internationally recognized and they usually sell it with cheap prices (ex: one laboratory retriever usually costs, 2000-3000 Chinese Yuan, which is approximately 300-500 USD). And believe or not, most of the Chinese dogs are stronger and healthier than the American dogs.

Yes, you can ship him by air, it's costly and puts stress on the animal, but with care he should make it fine. But it does require a lot of paperwork. :) hope this helped and you get your dog.
