Which graphics card is better?

  • i don't know much, but i do no that these two are one of the BEST graphics cards from Radeon. i am looking for a new graphics card and i found these two that i like, price wise and their quality. They are -AMD Radeon HD 6620G Discrete-Class and -AMD Radeon HD 6520G which card is better? ive also been told these were chipsets? is there any difference between chipsets and graphic cards? but yea, which card is better, why, and what does "Discrete-Class" mean?

    Both cards are not even near BEST. Both cards will not allow you to play most or any modern games on high settings. Both cards are very low end. Also, the 7000 series of Radeons have been released.

the 6620g is better, discrete means its a small card and silent, with ati the higher the better, so 6520 then 6620 then 6720 etc, both are actually discrete cards, same with nvidia, you have to be carfull as stores will add optimus to make you think its better, optimus is software nvidia use they both come with optimus, both will be the same card, none of the cards are woth buying however, to play games like bf3 your going to need atleast a 540m or ati equivilent

Both the Radeon and Geforce cards you listed are crap. Modern games like BF3, Crysis 2, Mass Effect 3 will be completely unplayable even at the lowest settings

those aren't even close to some of the best graphics cards, those are very poor, radeon is bad anyways, go nvidia
