How can i learn how to cruse on a skateboard?

    Get your wheels as big as you can get, it makes the ride smoother and your less likely to get caught on a rock or ledge. Other than that you just need to grow some balls(Metaphorically Speaking). Once you start you'll grow some confidence and learn how avoid falling. A long board would probably be best for what you want to do though, a big deck with lots of room for movement. As for avoiding falling, avoid rolling over rocks because your wheels can catch and if your going fast you'll go flying. And if you are going over a big crack or something like that try a little jump so your weights not on the board and your board won't catch.
