I have to argue that Invisible Children is not a scam, what are some things I should point out?

I think the best you will be able to do is find some other sleazy organizations to compare it to so it doesn't seem so uniquely rotten. There are lots of other charities and non-profits that are just as fake as IC and some of them also work secretly for religious agendas or political agendas like IC, so your best bet is to show that most of those "save the children" type groups you see on tv are just as fake. But any way you cut it you have your work cut out for you since everyone knows KONY 2012 is fake now.

Okay, IC has been around for a while. Back like two or three years ago not many people knew about it. Then it was really important to people, now that they have a viral video with so many hits its automatically a scam. Congressmen have met with them, they turned them down because no one knew about it. How would it be a scam if congressmen met up with them? Obviously it is serious. Everyone says it is a scam because of the percentages going to charities. Well if you were running a businesses and you were getting no money or profit out of it, you wouldn't be able to help yourself either. They have made jobs for people in Uganda, they have made schools and provided education for those. Also you should point out the way the boy Jacob in the video described how they murdered his brother. His tears showed real pain, that was no visine trick. So point out those details and do a bit more researching and your point will be valid and have people's minds running ragged with different possibilities! (:
