How do I download the saved files from yahoo mail?

Yahoo e mail wont download files?

  • Hi, I suddenly can't download files from my yahoo account to my desktop. For example, I can view a j peg when I open an e mail, but when I try to download it, nothing happens. I can download from other e mail accounts, just not yahoo. A few days ago, I was able to download. Do you know why I can no longer download files? Yahoo is my main e mail account and I may have to change to g mail or hotmail. Thanks,,

    I'm having the same problem. All I could find was a message by Yahoo Canada Help dated March 16th 2012 stating that many users were having trouble downloading files. But no answer on how to fix it. Here is the message : "Description There is a known issue with Yahoo! Mail. Some of the symptoms: Can not download attachments. Virus scan says "complete" but nothing happens when clicking continue. Virus scan says it can not scan file. Paperclip is shown, but no files are shown. Resolution Because of a known issue in Yahoo! Mail, some users are unable to download attachments in their Yahoo! Mail. Our team is already working on a resolution now, and we intend to have it corrected as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience while we correct the issue and apologize for any inconvenience."
