What is Charleston job corps center like? and how are the people in town toward blacks? ?

I'm leaving for CJCC Monday and I'm curious to know what it's like before I get there. How are the people in town and will I have to deal with ill treatment because I'm black? I'm hoping not to have any problems as far as that goes. I just wanna know if I'll have to deal with super racist buttholes or if the townspeople are cool? If anyone could tell me about their own personal experiences at Charleston job corps center or someone yall know that went there it would be greatly appreciated. It'll help me decide if I want to sign up to go off center for things other than shopping and my weekends. I'd like to avoid trouble of all kind.

I went to a small center in southern Kentucky, the only black people there really were those who lived on the job corps center, the townspeople didn't have a problem with that, and by what I know of Charleston I don't think they do either. A lot of times, it's judging you off the bat because you're in job corps alone. Good luck at your center, and I would take advantage of all the off-center activities as possible.
