Online Job applications what to do after?
-
I am an 18 year old soon to be college student. I just finished high school so I have no college degree, I have never had to work a day in my life so no former job experience. The only thing I have going for me is I have never been convicted of a crime. I have filled out their online job apps but now I don't know what to do. I have great interview experience (years of interviewing for pageants) and I'm a hard worker and fast learner I know if i were to just get an interview I would be able to get a job but its the getting the interview due to my no work experience and my fresh out of high school. SO now that i have filled out the online apps should I call up there and request an interview or go up there of just flat out wait. with gas prices the way they are right now i can't ask my parents to pay for my college and gas and all the other things they have been doing so please don't tell me just to forget it only serious answers please

Answer:
I'd go to the places you applied to and ask to talk to the manager and tell them you applied online and are very interested in working for them. If they see you in person it might make you stand out from the crowd of applicants. They might or might not need anyone right now. Good luck.

The best thing to do is go into the stores and ask to speak to the manager. Tell them you like to check on the status of your application then they might interview you or talk to you about the job or tell you it's closed. But going in person helps a lot and having interview experience does as well. :)
