What size sports bike is for me?

What size sports bike for a beginner at 6'2'' 180 lbs?

  • Answer:

some say Im too big for a 250 & the 600 is the same size...physically.. but has more power than even a good rider can use.. whats the point of paying huge amounts of cash...(insurance can be big $$$$$) for a bike that you only use 5% of its potential) buy the 250 Ninja... will take you a few years before you can use even a small bike to its potential..

For a beginner... Defenitely go with the 250... Your deffo nit too big for it as a friend of mine is near enough the same and had a ninja 250... A 600 is way too much for a beginner... You might think it is enough to handle but if a 50cc can do 70mph... what do you think a 600cc can do??? Learn the bike before you get a bigger sized bike ok...

Mitch

You are to big for a 250, get a 500 at least. I've got a Katana 600, it is for new riders.

Nick

Do yourself a BIG favor, stay away from a 600cc inline-4 for awhile. Better to learn HOW TO make a slow-bike go faster than making a fast-bike go slower. Believe me!

The Ninja 250 is a great bike but I would opt for the larger 600
