Are women accepted in animation and game design?

Is it better to get a degree in Game Design or in Animation?

  • I'm a junior in highschool and an most definitely planning on going to college. I live in Texas and there are only so many schools that have these types of degrees, I've dwindled it down to 3. TSTC, Art Institute of Dallas, and Sam Houston. Two of them have animation and one has Game Design but I'm not sure which would be best to major in. I'm aware its possible that I might not make it in, nonetheless, which is more ideal to strive for? Also, if you have extensive knowledge of any of the colleges could you factor that in? I.e. financial and experience wise. Thanks!

    For one do not go to art institutes, those schools aren't good and will leave you in debt. As for a degree maybe you might want to look for what it covers over all before you make a decision.
