Can You Get Banned On Playstation Home For Walking Away?

  • Well i was in playstation home i barely join a room there and stand there and enjoy the view. oh my playstation home screen name is based on a famous singer anyways, some guy just came up to me and told me her music sucks meaning the singer i havee as my screen name. i just told him so do you and please leave me alone. then he starts saying stuff like i would if you wern't a guy pretending to be a girl i mean he don't even knows me so i said yea i am and why are you still talking to me do you know what leave me alone means then i walk away again to another sppt there he follows me again thats when i told him please leave me alone i have done nothing to you again move to another spot , so i said i am going to report him for stalking that usually makes them go away then he says .. discriminating .. he leaves a bit comes back telling me he reported me for discriminating him like wtf when did i ever did anything that had to do with discriminating now i am just concern if he really did what will happen does playstation reads the chat and know he start to be rude first and false accustations? anyways please help thank you : )

    His reporting is false, PSN looks at the chat history if someone is reported, if they saw you did nothing then they might ban him for reporting you for no reason,

Users don't get banned over one report. It'll take numerous other users reporting the one user before they act on it. In other words, you're okay for now. Should it come to a point where a review of the chat log is necessary, then you should be okay as well.

Umm, it sounds like he reported you which would have resulted in the unwanted attention of unwanted eyes, such as moderators. It's possible they banned you intentionally without knowing what really happened, but I think it's just a mistake. Contact Sony, either by Twitter, facebook or email and explain to them exactly what happened.
