Hi the best method is to make a mold from one of these eggs with plaster of paris which will take the heat from the curing of the resin when it is poured into the mold. the heat from the curing process will melt the plastic egg molds so a positive is usually made using plaster of paris. the release agent generally used is a wax polish as used with glass fibre molds.
